| Only started a month ago and it's already closing an embarrassing month and a half early. Last performance is September 11th instead of October 21st. With the vast oversupply of shows, this surely got lost in the shuffle. Terrible reviews from NY Times, Theaterscene & Theatermania. And the mean-spirited "no late seating and no re-entry" (even though there's a super-easy rear entrance via the back staircase) surely didn't help matters. That phrase is worse than saying a four letter word to the audience members. | |

Your assertion about the "super-easy rear entrance" brought a smile to my face not just for the phrase itself but because it makes no sense. It doesn't matter where the member enters, if they expect to get to their seat in the middle of the second row. It's a sensible policy, hopefully designed to persuade audiences to get there on time. I have been going to the theatre for 40 years or more and have never, ever arrived late. What I have been is disturbed and taken out off the moment by latecomers. |
