I so agree. I love her version. And it's even better in person. As I recall she sings it sitting on a bench. She gets much more choked up than she does on the recording. Then it propels her into standing and moving center to close act one with Being Alive. Being Alive is not on the Matters of the Heart recording but is in the show. Shivers.
I also LOVE her rendition of Air That I Breathe. Her phrasing and breathing is so magical, almost hypnotic. |
