...is just about all that I recall. The suspended bodies. It was stylized, and "bold," but what did it say? Not a damn thing. I thought Chamberlain was okay -- and I'd liked his Shannon in "Iguana" opposite Dorothy McGuire. But Tolin* -- also on when I saw it -- made no impression. Errico had voice problems, on top of Chamberlain issues, no?

It was a dreary affair. Remember those big head sculptures? It all looked flimsy.

*I swore I saw Ringham on B'way. Yet I could not have. She's not listed; there was no replacement during the 165 performances in NY, but Michael Moriarity replaced Chamberlain.
