| I promised originality and that would not be original. This also got me thinking: maybe we should retire that expression and find some more digital one. Do they still even have phone books? I remember a few years ago the used to pile them up by the mailboxes in my building and then after a few days the building would recycle the unclaimed ones. I haven't seen them lately. Perhaps my super is just taking them to recycling straight away. I am old enough to remember when you needed a forklift to get all the new phone books into your apartment. And then we would all sit around a cozy fire and read them out loud. (Or not?) |
