How can he complain about seasonality when he booked the Belasco a year in advance - deliberately seizing on the vacant summer slot to house his show?
I also agree this will find some semblance of amateur and regional success ... but the idea of a 'Junior' version is fairly unlikely; while the adult content in the book and lyrics could (theoretically) be neutered, the central concept hinges on a mid-life crisis reuniting several adult men. It would be completely inane (if it's even possible to make this show more stupid) to do it with kids. |
