Lady Bunny, along with Neil Patrick Harris and David Burtka, revived Wigstock, the East Village drag fest, Saturday at Pier 17 in Manhattan.
BoyCulture's Matthew Rettenmund reports that Tony winners NPH and Lena Hall brought back their characters from ''Hedwig and the Angry Inch.''
(Other performers included ''Once on This Island's'' Alex Newell and Bob the Drag Queen. Plus, Michael Mayer directed the festivities.)
Among the highlights: Lypsinka performing ''If They Could See Me Now'' and answering phone calls in her signature style. (Video below.) |
