| thanks for filling in the credits for me.... I agree that the entire ensemble was excellent. I really Eva, Che and Peron, though, too. And while the Eva was not the powerhouse that LuPone was, she acted the hell out of the part and was actually poignant in her yearning (something I have never quite seen in other Evitas). And though she delivered the poignance, she didn't sacrifice the edge, the ruthlessness and the neediness. I just loved the whole evening. |
