And it's also the cost of a hostel bed in Boston. I could go to DC, see a play, spend the night, and catch some art at the National Gallery for about $90. It's a splurge. It's vacation or this Broadway show, at least on my Geoffrey Owen's wages.
There are some shows that I would gladly pay that for (though ironically, they also tend to charge more), but this one hasn't quite convinced me that it's worth it. I'm not saying its expensive, just that it ain't cheap, and they don't offer "bad" seats at comparably low prices. |
