| Well, but then of course that becomes the going rate. Once you start charging $40 for a seat, that becomes common knowledge, and it becomes harder to get even $90 for that seat in the future, right? I’m sure producers hate to see seats go empty, but they likely feel a need to keep prices up in the marketplace. (By the way, over the weekend I had my first $100-plus ticket at TKTS at 50 percent off. It doesn’t seem all that long ago that “The Producers” broke that barrier for a full-priced ticket. Can it keep going up and up forever??) |
