| Hotels or airline tickets are a service provided at a specific time. Flying to LA tomorrow or next week is not interchangeable. However, if you sell a ticket at $40 just to get butts in the seats today, that's attracting people that may have paid 90$ tomorrow or the next day. And yes, selling 80% of your tickets makes more money than selling 100%% at a 50% discount - that's just simple math. |
