I saw Charlotte Fairchild in Mr. President back in 1962. She was standby for Nanette Fabray and was on for her the night I went to the show. IBDB says that she died in 2013 in Englewood, NJ, so she was likely a resident of the Actors' Home at that time.
The way I got to this point... I have a show book from Dallas Summer Mudicals 1970-something where Juliet Prowse starred as Mame and Charlotte Fairchild was Vera Charles. I have a tendency to go through actor bios and google search the actors out to see more of who they are. Finding Ms Fairchild in this manner has been very rewarding.
