| Cronyism. They are chosen by the Tony Administration Committee with a supposed eye to diversity, not just ethnic etc but also so that each filed of theatre is represented along with theatre academics etc. |

| I will say that this looks like the least crony-ish group I recall. by far. It also seems awfully heavy on choreo types. | |

| ...having Peter Hedges on the committee when his son Lucas is making his Broadway debut in The Waverly Gallery this season? That's been known for some time, so I would think if he needed to recuse it would have been done already. | |
