As my father, a man of great sense of fairness (despite being a Republican, when it was something a bit different), always talked about how "sue happy" our country had become--that the first response to any perceived offense always seemed to be "I'll sue" (and, for the record, he died in 1983, so he said this long ago).
If this idiot tries to sue, I hope to theatre and the producing organization countersues for trespassing and for safety violations, as the stage is always off-limits--I note that ushers scrupulously tell ill-mannered audience members to remove their feet from the stage--which may be a vestige of their overly casual behavior at movie theaters. Somehow the world has become everyone's living room. |
