| A friend of mine who knew him well also told me he was a great guy. I think his knowledge about movies was pretty strong, but when he got into talking about the stage origin of various films, he frequently made errors that made me shake my head. Nevertheless, I liked the job he did on TCM -- he was a fine interviewer. |
