He won't own up to anything. It's his stupid proclamations out here that drive me batty. It's easy to say anything out here. It's much harder to issue a retraction.

It wouldn’t surprise me if the tour did stop on broadway. To mount a new production is probably $12-15m or more. Tour stop is probably $6-8m since there is no casting, rehearsals, sets, costumes etc. mostly reserves, insurance and publicity money needed. There will probably be several more theaters opening up this spring.

The Paint may be Drying a little faster now, but LOVE NEVER DIES remains a well intentioned, but not very good show. Sorry ALW.

It would be wise to keep this vanity project far away from the NY critics. Other than the design elements, it is execrable--I would call it the worst thing I ever saw that purported to be professional theater, but I also saw THE BODYGUARD tour, so...
