Considering that Joyce is in her mid 70's, I hope that Simon and his family did some long-term estate planning, rather than simply short-term planning.
Even if Joyce controls the estate now, I imagine that, over the next 10 years or so, Simon's daughters will be the ones making those decisions, unless Simon specifically empowered someone else, like a trusted attorney, to control the estate.
Since we're likely talking about A LOT of revenue over time, I hope everyone in the Simon family gets along and we don't see a lengthy court battle here. |
