| Just found this sweet video clip of Liz, who originally sang ''Journey to the Past'' for the animated film of ''Anastasia'' over 20 years ago. Here, she's paired with Broadway's Anastasia, Christy Altomare, singing this Flaherty & Ahrens gem, arranged by Benjamin Rauhala. I'll always remember Liz belting Maltby & Shire's ''The Story Goes On'' from ''Baby'' (and getting a Tony nomination for it). Her last Broadway credit was ''The Look of Love'' (2003). Liz still sounds stellar, and I'd love to see her back on Broadway. |

| Saw her in "Baby" and played that album much when it came out. I used to say that her rendition of "The Story Goes On" was a model of simplicity and even restraint, trusting the song to do its eloquent work. She also made a fine Grizabella, and again, while letting her remarkable voice loose as is required, she eschewed excess. |
