Of course the theatre got there first. We are a melting pot of performers.
I saw Summer for the 3rd time last night (no hate please) and I think it's an example of ultimate diversity. IE: a black woman plays a white man! Her words, not mine.
Let's appreciate this instead of questioning why women are playing a role that "should" be played by a man. Think about it before anyone spills hate.
Ethnicity on the American Stage must not be based on old rules and perceptions.
We can inspire the world stage. |
