| I saw Come From Away today (late to the party, I know). I was SO impressed by the courtesy, politeness and efficiency of the Schoenfeld staff and security.... Lots of ‘Good afternoon,’ Welcome,’ ‘Please May I look into your bag,’ ‘Thank you, enjoy the show.’ No long line for admission. So unlike a recent experience at the Nederlander (I forget the show) where staff and security lined us up and barked at patrons as if we were convicts. Despite the woman next to me munching peanut M&Ms throughout the first half of the show, the staff and security team actually made theatergoing a pleasant experience. (As for the show itself ... liked it, didn’t love it. Glad i caught up with it, though. Sensational cast, even with several subs.) Really, I just wanted to comment on excellent theater management. |
