| I had seen this play twice 18 years ago,and never figured anyone would be able to touch Eileen Heckart's astounding performance. I saw the revival yesterday,however and was blown away by Elaine May-never knew she was such a BRILLIANT actress! I was really overcome by how heartbreaking she was! The whole cast is outstanding and it's soooo nice to see the great Joan Allen back on stage also. This is easily the best thing I've seen all season and Elaine May is pure genius! Run to see it! |
