| I absolutely loved this immersive production tonight that has moved over from Scotland, it’s at a theater at 777 8th Avenue, by 47th up a few flights of stairs so beware if you have mobility issues. Actually beware for many reasons that are introduced by the list of warnings as long as your arm about nudity, violence, language, splatter etc And whilst it is the most extreme experience for some of the above I have ever had in the theater at its heart is a well written adapatation of the novel with astounding fully committed performances. It absolutely tells a cohesive story unlike some other immersive experiences where it’s about the atmosphere at the neglect of the narrative. You will laugh and scream and maybe even feel like shedding a tear for the characters that are so brutally drawn. Massively recommended if you have the stomach for the intense experience. |
