| Burn this waits for heels to announce or heels is forced to announce closing so burn this can announce. | |

| Unquestionably, the farce that is the continued running of this show was running out of steam, but had there been another show ready, willing, and able, HOH would have been kicked to the curb already. Remember that ATG does not have the finesse of the established landlords. | |

| And if burn this isnt ready until spring there is no point in kicking out heels earlier this year because atg gets weekly lease which is more than nothing for a dark theater. It’s the producers that ran through the reserve and then a lot more money. | |

| yes and yes. my point about atg is that they do not have the sort of flexibility and alternatives that the big 3 (esp the Shubs) have. | |

| Pure speculation, but I’d bet that “Burn This” has been waiting for “Head Over Heels” to announce its closing date. There have been rumors of “Burn This” at the Hudson for quite some time, I’d wager that it was just a matter of seeing if “Head Over Heels” would close in the autumn before the holidays, or make a push to January (which turned out to be the case). | |

| Yes, I'm sure it's absolutely true that the BURN THIS producers were waiting to officially announce that the show will be playing at the Hudson until the official announcement came that HOH would be closing, but I hope it goes without saying that the deal for BURN THIS to go into that theater has been set for some time. This is the protocol for how these situations have worked many times in the past, most recently with MOULIN ROUGE and KINKY BOOTS at the Hirschfeld. |

| No, but they certainly gave it a go, between performing on the parade (albeit on CBS) and putting up a new billboard on Times Square. The expectation that Burn This may have been set for awhile, but these producers were clearly planning on staying in the theater if at all possible. | |
