I couldn't believe hardly any reviewers pointed out that it's all terrible. :P

The friend who went with me recently saw and liked Mean Girls, and until I pointed it out he wouldn't have guessed that it was also Nicholaw's work. Aside from lacking a big tap number his stamp is pretty obvious, but in a poor-imitation sort of way.

He was involved with The Prom before Mean Girls was really a thing, right? There's probably not he could have done about them arriving eight months apart. It's not as if he could have pulled out of The Prom post-Mean Girls without killing it entirely.

Agreed. But he could have made the styles and choreography of the shows different. When that giant bank of technicolor lockers flew in during The Prom, I seriously thought they had borrowed the set.
