Aside from an appalling lack of leg space
This is apparently quite variable--I distinctly remember when on a tour of the Hudson commenting on how roomy it was in the front of the orchestra, with a good extra 6-8 inches in front of my knees (I'd spent the night before with the knees wedged against the back of a chair at the Belasco). I think I was sitting in the third row, but it looked much the same for the rows in front/back of me. I guess the balcony is tighter together (perhaps so that the back rows are closer than they'd otherwise be!) |
