Love is a Bad Neighborhood, Written by Francine Witte and Directed by S. Scott Miller, Stage Managed by Natalia Stayton, Fight Choreography by Monica Blaze Leavitt and Production assistance by Joshua Miller, will be opening on December 4 at 8pm for a run through Sunday. Love is a Bad Neighborhood is set in the mean streets of Love, Love Is a Bad Neighborhood is a poetic fable in which we meet two women, Sister Pain (Francesca Shipsey) and Sister Joy (Susan Ly), and Tag (Michael Bordwell), the man they both love, but which will he choose? And then there's the mischievous Love Doctor (Johnny Blaze Leavitt), who believes he is controlling the action.
Sprinkled throughout with bits of magic, Love Is a Bad Neighborhood is a dark and glittery ode to love itself.
Love is a Bad Neighborhood will be playing a limited one week run at Theater 54 @ Shetler Studios, 244 West 54th Street, 12th floor, in the heart of the theater district. Production Notes: The use of strobe light, gun shot sound effect will be used in the production, the show is on the 12th floor and no late seating will be offered. The show is presented with no intermission, with a run time of 90 minutes. |
