The Times itself--after all the Miranda pieces they've published--is the real culprit here. Not only should they have edited Cochrane's article, did NO one see that both the photo caption and the first mention of Miranda's contribution get it right? But does Cochrane, even if she doesn't write much about the Arts, not know the difference between a musical director and a composer?

But does Cochrane, even if she doesn't write much about the Arts, not know the difference between a musical director and a composer?

Let alone that Lacamoire wasn't just the musical director, but also the orchestrator - and he shares musical arranging credit with Miranda as well.

It’d be interesting to see how much of the score WAS written by Alex.

I don't think Cochrane is the problem so much as how many other people (editors, etc) also saw the article.
