| Looking at a couple of different websites, the Lyric proscenium was said to be, before the Potter renovation, 40 ft wide and 30 ft high. The Palace in London was measured in 1960 as 33 ft 8 in wide and 34 ft high. BTW, in the renovations for Potter the Lyric seating was cut from about 1900 to about 1500, to "increase intimacy and enable the deceptively simple (but massively complex) design from the London show to be seamlessly transferred to Broadway." It's still a big house based on Broadway examples albeit not large compared to many road houses. | |

| The Palace Theatre is smaller. The stage is also smaller. If you look closely at the pictures of the set from London and Broadway, you can tell. Anyone who sees the show in both venues should be able to notice the differences. The lyric is much wider, with slightly wider seats and aisles. | |
