And don't forget.......in the original film (Neptune's Daughter), after Ricardo Montalban sings the " wolf" to Esther Williams' "mouse"; the song is reprised. And this time a female, Betty Garrett sings the "wolf" lines to red Skelton's "mouse" further showing that songwriter Frank Loesser was NOT referring to any kind of sexist or demeaning male taking advantage of a female. it's all light, comic, and clever....even in 2018 (for those who are intelligent and sane enough to actually appreciate the context, and the way the song was introduced to the world). It deservedly won an Oscar for Best Song (1949)
