Oh, I'm well aware that nobody actually in the theatre during the performance is a millionaire (the odd headliner excepted, of course). And I don't mean to blame anyone at all. I just proposed that ALL parties sit down and try to figure it out, because it's kind of absurd that a show grossing $1M/week is on track to become a huge flop. Not every show can be HAMILTON or WICKED or BOOK OF MORMON.

Whatever the top earner was last week on Broadway, I wonder how long it'll be before we're talking about how whatever the figure was that that show brought in last week is now dooming a show to failure if it doesn't improve.

And, when orchestra tickets are $1,000 apiece, how will that affect audiences?
