I get it that some of the lyrics of I Enjoy Being a Girl are not great for today, but the extreme lyric rewriting to try to make it into an anthem of female empowerment, with lyrics about changing the lyrics "when we sing it to our daughters" doesn't really fit the context of how the song fits within Flower Drum Song. If they didn't like the original lyrics, they could have picked another song for the medley.
