| I actually preferred Marin Mazzie to Alice Ripley in Next to Normal. I thought Harvey Fierstein was a revelation in Fiddler. I enjoyed Molina enough, but Harvey was brilliant in my opinion. This was likely due to the fact that I kept thinking that I couldn't imagine him in the role. I preferred both Laura Bennati and Rosemary Harris to Ambrose and Rigg in My Fair Lady. I thought Rob McClure was brilliant in Something Rotten, though I did enjoy Brian D'Arcy James as well. (Saw on tour but I know he did replace on Broadway.) |
