I have been away a lot this fall and haven’t posted much.
I have not seen the Broadway Network but I did write about the play pwhen I saw it at the National 13 months ago. In a nutshell: Bryan Cranston’s performance is a must-see. Ivo van Hove’s concept and direction (along with the scenic design) is a thrilling approach that turns the theatre audience into Howard Beale’s TV studio audience. The play itself isn’t so good, but the overall effect is that Network is one of the very few shows this Broadway season so far that is worth the time and money. Yes
