| Speaking of Stokes Mitchell, I seem to be one of the few people who preferred Alton Fitzgerald White's more contained Coalhouse Walker to Stokes Mitchell's performance. I saw him on closing weekend, and perhaps he had improved during his run because I remember that at the time on this board most people did not seem to have liked him much in the role. And I preferred Donna Bullock's Mother to Marin Mazzie's. But then I'm not that much of a fan of the show. |
