LOL, well, "you can call me Al" or you can call me "Ben". (neither of which is true) My record attendance is "Company"which represents a different, personal, though related, story. I do think I have shared some of that story here. Both "Company" and "Follies"provided "girls up stairs" though "Follies" was sort of a smorgasbord.
I have probably never mentioned "Follies" and I imagine I should not have now but this ridiculous myth is simply not tied to any sort of underlying truth.
Another thought: "I'm Still Here" is, indeed, a tough song. As has been discussed endlessly over the intervening years, it truly is a three act play and demands complete focus from even the most accomplished actor/singer. |
