| I've loved a lot of the performers I've seen as Carlotta, but it was often mostly a great star turn and about delivering the one song. With Paige, I felt like it was the first time I really saw who this person was -- the quintessential show biz good-time girl. Everything made sense and she came across as just the right age, not too young and definitely not too old. I can't compare with Yvonne as Can That Boy Fox Trot was still in the show when I saw it and I don't think they'd really found the character yet. |
