I'm not sure if you're asking whether I meant Donald Corren instead of David Garrison or instead of Donald Berman. In any case, I meant Donald Berman. I know that Corren was an Arnold understudy and then replacement (maybe matinees only?), and he also seems a tad unlikely for the role, but he's not who I meant.

Berman later replaced D. W. Moffett in The Normal Heart at the Public, playing Felix opposite Joel Grey's Ned Weeks. I had seen him earlier at Williamstown as Orlando in a terrific Second Company production of As You Like It. He took over as the evening Arnold in October 1984 but was then moved to matinees.
