| Why doesn't Mary Poppins help the Banks family find the bank certificate much earlier? And if Poppins was hanging back until the Bankses discovered it on their own, wasn't that a big risk? What if the father hadn't recognized it on the kite? Would Mary have allowed them to lose their house? (And I imagine this reveal of where the certificate was, was supposed to be a surprise, but I saw this plot element coming a mile away.) |
