There's a video which shows how some colorblind people see things, alongside what a non-colorblind people would of the same view. Many of these folks see some colors, but they can't really always see different shades. A lot of them can't differentiate between red and green. Plus some colors like purple, almost always seems to thrill them when the glasses work for them, as this is one color that seems to be totally new to them. Many of the folks say that they will have to re-learn some things and how they label them color-wise. Plus things in the videos, like skin tones in some of the Caucasian people shown, are brand new to the people trying the glasses, having before seemed like something approaching gray or more washed out and less vivid. They are looking at themselves and their families with almost new eyes, and it's really great!
