| My girlfriend and I spent a long drive trying to name a musical for every state. Only restrictions were that the location had to be integral to the major arc of the story/songs, e.g. Caroline or Change gets us Louisiana, but Gypsy does NOT get us Washington. Road musicals don't count since there are multiple locations along the way. We didn't even bother naming shows that got us California or New York because that felt less interesting, but we did find that Iowa was surprisingly popular (State Fair, Music Man, Bridges of Madison County).
