It mostly takes place in Russia, with scenes also in Paris and Chicago.

For Alaska, there is the out-of-town closer Bonanza Bound, with book and lyrics by Comden and Green, and music by Saul Chaplin. It ran a week in Philly from December 26, 1947 through January 3, 1948. It left behind an unissued (and decidedly incomplete, just nine songs) RCA cast recording, recorded in Philly because of the impending new Petrillo ban. Later issued on a disc of Comden and Green stuff by some little label.

Part of BOUNCE is set in Alaska, or is it just the Canadian Yukon, as in FOXY?

Oh, yeah, I guess Foxy doesn't count. FWIW, Bonanza Bound was set in Alaska, although before it was a state. In fact, it wasn't a state during the week Bonanza Bound played in Philly. :)

And Bounce does go to Alaska, but reading the OP's post more carefully, I don't think he'd consider Bounce-Road Show-Wise Guys as counting.
