| This is a game I've played in my own head in the past. Here's my own alternative list. I've tried not to repeat any of your titles, but I haven't looked yet at any of the answering posts below, so forgive me if I repeat some of theirs. Arizona: Girl Crazy, Crazy For You Arkansas: California: Pipe Dream, City of Angels, Allegiance, I Remember Mama, The Most Happy Fella Colorado: Connecticut: Arms and the Girl Delaware: D.C.: 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, Teddy and Alice, Mr. President Florida: Road Show, Sugar Georgia: Gone With the Wind Hawaii: Thirteen Daughters Idaho: Illinois: Windy City, Sugar (beginning), Show Boat (in part) Indiana: Seventeen Iowa: Kansas: Hot September Kentucky: Louisiana: Pousse-Cafe, Louisiana Purchase Maine: Courtin' Time Maryland: Kiss Me, Kate (the show is trying out in Baltimore) Massachusetts: Doonesbury Michigan: Minnesota: Annie Get Your Gun (a significant part) Mississippi: Show Boat (in part) Missouri: Montana: Whoop-Up Nebraska: Nevada: Golden Rainbow New Hampshire: New Jersey: High Button Shoes New Mexico: Too Many Girls, Wildcat, The Harvey Girls New York: Bloomer Girl, Sleepy Hollow, Saratoga (all set in upstate New York) North Carolina: North Dakota: Ohio: Sherry, Annie Get Your Gun (a significant part) Oklahoma: Oregon: Seven Brides for Seven Brothers Pennsylvania: Plain and Fancy, 1776, Best Foot Forward Rhode Island: South Carolina: South Dakota: Calamity Jane Tennessee: Texas: 110 in the Shade, Texas Li'l Darlin' Utah: Vermont: White Christmas Virginia: Shenandoah, Virginia Washington: The Golden Apple, Jennie (in part) West Virginia: Wisconsin: Wyoming: |

| This may be brought up elsewhere in the thread - but "Crazy for You" is set in Dead Rock, Nevada - not in Arizona! :) | |

| Thank you. As far as I know, nobody else did mention that. Nevada it is! | |

| I bet the confusion stems from GIRL CRAZY being set in Custerville, AZ...the show originally contained a song, that didn't make it into CRAZY FOR YOU, called "Cactus Time in Arizona." | |

| Yes, I knew Girl Crazy had been set in Arizona, and I just assumed Crazy For You had been, too. Even though I've seen Crazy For You, I either didn't notice the change of locale or had forgot about it. | |

| Not by me. But I didn't use it on my list because the OP had already mentioned it, along with State Fair. I didn't mention Oklahoma!, Chicago, or The Unsinkable Molly Brown under their respective states for the same reason. | |
