Producers Simon Painter, Tim Lawson, MagicSpace Entertainment, and Kilburn Live announced today that The Illusionists – Magic Of The Holidays grossed a record $2,978,348.70 for the week ending December 30, setting a new all-time box office record at the Marquis Theatre (210 West 46th Street), breaking The Illusionists’ own record at the Marquis ($2,217,405.00 for the week ending January 4, 2015), marking the best week ever for The Illusionists over four Broadway engagements in the past five years and the best-selling week anywhere for the acclaimed Illusionists brand.
This season’s Broadway run grossed $8,407,239.50 in six weeks of performances.
The Illusionists previously wowed New York audiences three record-breaking years in a row with Witness The Impossible, Live on Broadway, and Turn Of The Century, and around the world including smash hit engagements on London’s West End and on tour around the United States and Canada. The show has shattered box office records across the globe and dazzled audiences of all ages with a powerful mix of the most outrageous and astonishing acts ever seen on stage.
This year’s family-friendly show, Magic of the Holidays, showcased the jaw dropping talents of “The Deductionist” Colin Cloud, “The Sorceress” Chloé Crawford, “The Manipulator” and 2018 Winner Of “America’s Got Talent” Shin Lim, “The Grand Illusionist” Darcy Oake, and “The Futurist” Adam Trent, alongside special guests Light Balance.
