| I can't be the only one on this board who remembers how we felt in 1927... so skeptical that anyone would ever pay those exorbitant $1.50 prices for orchestra seats... and yet constantly amazed week after week when the Belasco box office was reporting incredible, not-to-be-believed $3,500 weekly grosses? God, I remember those conversations we had at the Automat where I proudly, confidently declared, "This Belasco Theatre box office record could never, can never, and WILL never be broken..." I feel humiliated and ashamed by the naivete of my predictions... but if I feel anything else, it's a desperate desire for Polk & Co./RPM to provide weekly updates on this board every time NETWORK has the #privilege of breaking Hit the Deck's Belasco Theatre records!! (I would also appreciate weekly reminders of by whom FOODWORK is curated, what the size of the plates that FOODWORK patrons will enjoy throughout the evening is, and into what kind of entrance FOODWORK patrons will be escorted.) How lucky we are to be alive right now!! |

| You remain as delicious now as when we first encountered you in the wood, Miss Brimbleminer. When a Broadway baby says, “Goodnight!”, it’s 2:55 in the morning! | |
