Your "list" of grievances seems to me to be one issue, and I want it to be fixed too. It's annoying. But I think the other things that people complained about were fixed - most notably, maintaining your place as you go back and forth between lists and entries.
I think someone said this is a common theater software that has been adapted. When you go to a theater website to order tickets, you expect to see all performances - no date of the run would be removed from listings because it was sold out. The difficulty in removing dates may be built in. Which doesn't mean it can never be fixed.
TDF is a convenient way to get steep discounts for a lot of theater if you fit narrow eligibility requirements. When tickets are available, it still works. It's worth remembering that TDF is not an entitlement, it's a nonprofit intended to support the theater industry - customer service has never been their focus, and we are not their main constituents. "Don't call' used to be printed on materials they sent to members. I doubt threatening to quit is a useful tactic. My sense is that they're often trying to trim the membership - because they're not worried about making a profit...
I don't mind if people quit, either. More available tickets...;)
