| I wouldn’t expect any belting - this is not the musical adaptation that was seen on Broadway in the 2000s. From the casting notice, the writer is Kate Hamill, and it’s “loosely adapted” from the novel. She has adapted a few other classic novels, as well - “Pride & Prejudice” and “Vanity Fair” among them. |
