NUTS had a very successful run in Los Angeles in the early 80s at the no-longer L.A. Stage Company, then at the old Las Palmas Theater in Hollywood.
I'm pretty sure that was the reason the film version of the play got the traction it did.
The actress Karen Austin was excellent in the lead. |
