I loved it. Really loved it. Not every single second was successful, but most of it was, and a lot of it gave me new insights into the book--which is a really great book. I had been nervous before I attended the play, and a couple of months later, when I went to wear the sweater I had worn to Gatz, I found a ticket stub and 4 aspirin in my pocket! I had prepared, but then not needed the aspirin. Honestly, for my friend and I it was thrilling, and with the breaks etc we had no problem. The book is so rich that I am glad it was finally brought to life in a way that is worthy of the source.
