Maybe, but that would be quite a major oversight, wouldn't it? I realize Playbill is not published by the League, but still.

As I may have said before, this reminds me of the situation when press releases for NATASHA, PIERRE & THE GREAT COMET OF 1812 began to refer to the show only as THE GREAT COMET. When I asked the press office about this, they said something to the effect that the title had NOT been officially changed, but they were just using the shorter title as shorthand -- even though the full title didn't appear even once in the release. It really is interesting how people can fudge things when they seem to have a problem making a definite decision, and I imagine in that case the issue may have been a disagreement between the producers and the press office.
