And found it perfectly charming. I think it works very well on screen. I can only imagine the poignancy on stage, especially with the children's choir.
I don't think I've seen any of Victoria Wood's work before, and I don't see anything else available though my streaming options (thought I was going to be able to see "Housewife, 49," but it came up as unavailable.) She seems to have been quite a multi-talented woman.
