| I think you speak to part of my post, which is that we have a feeling, before seeing something, if we think it will be good or appeal to us. Certainly the involvement of certain creative artists can inform that. My experience of Tootsie was that I didn't think much either way when it was announced--eh another movie adaptation. But after hearing such positive things from out of town, and being a big fan of the work of Santino Fontana, I know I'll see it. So that's how it went from the movie adaptation flavor of the week to something that inspired my interest. |
